A Story Of Electrified Performance
YASA works with some of the world’s most exciting car brands to design and develop e-motors that are fully integrated into the drivetrain.
Over the past decade YASA’s Axial Flux motors have been used in several high-performance cars such as the Drive eO PP03 (the first EV to win the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb outright), Jaguar C-X75, Koenigsegg Regera and a Lola Le Mans Prototype converted to set a world electric land speed record in 2013.
In 2019, Ferrari incorporated YASA Motors into their Ferrari SF90 Stradale and subsequently the 296GTB.
We also produce a range of off-the-shelf and custom motors for use in a number of industries and applications such as automotive, marine, power generation and hydraulics replacement systems.
Watch the story of our Decade of Performance below:
Ferrari 296 GTB
Launched in 2021 as the second Ferrari to feature a YASA motor, the 296 GTB is powered by a 2,992cc (3.0L) twin-turbo 120°V6 engine that has a maximum output of 488kW (654hp; 663PS) at 8,000 rpm, in combination with a 123kW (165hp; 167PS) YASA Electric Motor for a total system output of 819 hp.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale
YASA worked closely with Ferrari, as part of their first plug-in hybrid.
Featuring three Electric Motors powered by an 8kWh lithium-ion battery to produce a peak of 217bhp to bring the SF90’s combined power output to 987bhp.
The Spirit Of Innovation
The Spirit Of Innovation is the World’s Fastest Electric Plane.
The zero-emission aircraft, powered by 3 YASA Axial Flux Motors achieved a new world record for all-electric flight of 345.4mph in November 2021
The Jaguar Vector V20E
Jaguar set the electric water speed record on Coniston Water in England’s Lake District after the boat recorded a top speed of 88.61mph (142.60km/h).
Powered by two YASA motors the V20E boat delivers 295bhp.
EVOA: Marine Propulsion, powered by YASA
Utilising the YASA Axial Flux Motor, paired with state-of-the-art components, the EVOA E1 Electrified Performance System provides an unprecedented on-water experience.
The E1 System achieves quicker time to plane, solid throttle response and high-top speeds, setting the standard for high performance marine electric propulsion.
The Curtiss 1
A hand-built, bespoke motorcycle, that skilfully blends art & technology to define the future of 2-wheel riding.
At its heart is a YASA P400 Axial Flux Motor, configured to produce 217hp and 200 Nm of torque.
Record Breaking Pikes Peak Victories
In 2015, the Drive eO PP03 became the overall winner at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Faster than any other vehicle on the climb and winning by 25 seconds, it’s powered by six?YASA-400 motors? producing over 1000 kW?of peak-power and peak-torque of 2160 Nm. In 2016, with a 7th motor on board, the Drive eO PP100 became the first fully electric car to break 9 minutes.
Drayson Racing
in 2013, the Lola Drayson B12/69EV, a modifed Le Mans Racing Car, powered by 4 YASA motors, delivering over 850hp broke the land speed record, with a speed of over 204mph for an car weighing under 1000kg.
1500 bhp Koenigsegg Regera
Unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the stunning Regera uses three YASA Axial Flux Motors, and according to Koenigsegg, delivers the fastest accelerating, most powerful production car ever.
Jaguar C-X75
A hybrid, 2 seat, electric concept car, created by Jaguar Cars in partnership with Williams Advanced Engineering, which debuted in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show, and was featured in the James Bond film Spectre.
